At SHAPES IN THE SAND, we pride ourselves on prompt, reliable, and conscious shipping. All orders are sent plastic free in sustainable packaging, reflecting our commitment to protecting the environment.

Orders are dispatched within 24–48 hours on business days and are fully trackable. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details so you can follow its journey from our Sydney studio to your doorstep. Delivery timeframes may vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected.

If your order includes a pre order item, your pieces will be shipped together once the pre order is ready. This allows us to reduce excess packaging and ship more consciously. If you would prefer separate shipments, please contact us.

Shipping Within Australia

Carrier: Australia Post

Free Standard Shipping: Available Australia wide on all orders over $150.

Express Shipping: Upgrade to express delivery for $15 at checkout.

Orders are processed Monday to Friday. Purchases made on weekends or public holidays will be shipped the next business day.

International Shipping

Enjoy complimentary international shipping on all orders over $300 AUD

All orders under $300 will ship for a flat rate of $35 AUD. This includes full tracking and allows us to cover the tariff fees now in place. Delivery takes approximately 7–15 business days.

Express Shipping: Upgrade to express delivery for $50 AUD for faster international shipping.

You will receive a tracking email once your order has been dispatched.

Customs Duties and Taxes

International customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by their local authority. These vary by country, so we recommend checking with your local customs office before placing your order. SHAPES IN THE SAND is not responsible for these additional charges.

Sustainable Shipping Promise

Every SHAPES IN THE SAND order is packed using recycled, compostable, or sustainably sourced materials. From swing tags made with recycled card and non toxic inks to compostable hygiene liners and postage labels, your order arrives with minimal environmental impact.

Lost or Missing Parcels

Once your order has been handed over to Australia Post, it is scanned into their network and delivery becomes their responsibility. All orders are sent with standard shipping and tracking, as outlined on our website.

If your parcel appears to be delayed, missing or marked as delivered but cannot be located, we recommend contacting Australia Post directly and lodging an investigation using your tracking number. This allows their team to locate the parcel or provide next steps.

We are always here to help however we are not able to replace or refund parcels that Australia Post has confirmed as delivered. If you need further support with your delivery investigation, please reach out to us and we will do our best to assist.
