Online Returns Policy 

SHAPES IN THE SAND is dedicated to customer service and ensuring that you are completely happy with your purchase. If you change your mind you can return it for a full refund or exchange for a different size, style of colour way.

If you'd like to exchange your item we will post back your new order at not extra cost. (Express post for exchanges is available for all orders Australia wide)

Please note all discounted and sale items are final and a full refund will only be issued for non-sale items. We are happy to exchange your item/s for another shape, size or colour way. Alternatively an online credit will be issued.

To return your order, please email us at and complete the returns slip that you'll receive with your order and send it back to us with your order. Please email us at to let us know that you will be returning/exchanging your order. 

Items must be in original condition and must not have been worn or washed. Please ensure all tags are intact. Once tags are removed the garment is no longer returnable. All garments within Australia must be returned within 14 working days from the date of purchase or exchange and International must be lodged within 25 days from the date of shipping. 

Please make sure that swimwear is tried on over your own underwear. For hygiene purposes, we may refuse returns of items where it's obvious that this hasn't been done. Please ensure that protection sticker is still in place.

All garments are made with care and are inspected before shipping. In the unlikely event that a garment is faulty please contact us within the 14 day period and we will inspect the item and organise a replacement if the item is faulty. If a replacement is unavailable you may choose another suitable item. If an item is faulty and there is no suitable replacement you may be refunded.

SHAPES IN THE SAND offers capsule run collections. For this reason we cannot guarantee sizes or styles will be available when exchanging. If the style, size you want is not available you will be given an online store credit. Please follow the care instructions on the label to ensure longevity of your beautiful shapes.

SHAPES IN THE SAND does not cover your return postage costs. Please ensure your return package is prepaid and insured, in case of loss or damage. Once we have received your return package we will notify you via email, once your new package is on its way.
